How to Apply

The application process

Applying is free and there is no deadline — applications are open all year. Read the eligibility guidance first, then prepare your information before starting the form.

1. Check eligibility

You must be aged 18 or over and have been working as a farmer or in a skilled trade for at least 6 months. Applications are open to people in any country.

2. Prepare your information

  • Personal and contact details
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Proof of business or farm
  • Photos of your workshop, farm or workspace
  • References
  • A description of your farm or business
  • The equipment you need and how you will use it

3. Submit your application

Complete the online form. You will receive a unique application reference and can upload your documents from your dashboard. Submission is not approval.

4. Assessment

Authorised staff review applications against published criteria. Assessment usually takes about 3 weeks. We may request further information.

5. Decision and delivery

You will be informed of the decision through official channels. If your application is declined you have 14 calendar days from the decision date to appeal. Where approved, delivery information will only be shared from genuine shipment records.
